New additions to the homestead!

Welcome Peep, MaeBell, & Hoktee ( Hoktuce or Hoktee is Creek Native American word meaning girl) to the family! Our newest addition to the homestead! We hope these lovely ladies will provide us with some fresh eggs in about 6-7months! For now they're in a clear plastic tub lined with cedar chips. Don't worry we have a 200watt light blub on them for heating! They are in the tub in our shed for safety. They are too little for living in the newly upcycled coop we made earlier in the week so this will buy us some time to finish it!

Take a look at the newly upcycled swingset into a mini chicken coop! All free material I might add! We also went and scavenged along the road sides for any thrown away materials we could use! We found lots of useful wood! Upcycle Recycle! That's the frugal way!
